Hi,
I've just got a HOLOX BT321 gps bluetooth receiver. After initial problems getting a satellite lock and fix i have now sorted that bit out...green flashing lights indicate a satellite lock in place. I turn on my PDA bluetooth function, can easily find the gps receiver and then pair the two up. Booth units provide a blue flashing light to show that they are talking to each other. However, when i start up my TT5 software is says "no GPS device".

I have checked the status summary and it says 0 satellites. I have curerntly configured the gps unit within TT% as "other bluetooth GPS" and put it on com port 8 - but nothing. THen i have tried all the other various combinations of com port and gps units.

Can anyone help me get these two talking properly?

Thanks

Mike

Have a look at:
http://www.totalpda.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=3330

Download the update from www.tomtom.com support, PDA nav, TomTom 5, updates manuals, update 5.2xx

Click on tomtom navigator
Tap on the screen and select Change Preferences (big spanner)
tap the black triangle until it says Preferences 4 of 6
Select Configure
This is the stupid part Select "other cable NMEA GPS" yeah thats right CABLED
GPS Baud Rate 4800 and select DONE
Select the correct bluetooth port (com 7 or 8), if you cannot see the number tap and hold and then you will see what number.
