Navigator 4.4 to version 5

Advice please. I am using navigator 4.4 at the moment. How can I upgrade to version 5 and what are the benefits.

Hello, just a quick question - are you using a Navigator 1 or 2? I bought a Navigator 2 and just after I bought it I discovered that you can't load custom POIs and that the week after they'd brought out the 2720. I swallowed hard and took a hit on taking it back to the dealer. I bought the genuine BMW item and regretted it.
