Destinator OP Version numbers

Hello
This is my first post and iam new to using sat nav i have always used my handheld GPS but i now have a GNAV10 with destinator OP but from reading the posts here there seems to be a lot of versions out there iam running on 5-1-145.

Can anyone tell me how old this software is i didnt think te system and software were that old but looking at the diffrent versions that are floating around its either quite old or they have had a lot of problems with it.

Hi there, by the looks of it you have a newer version for the GNAV10 Destinator OP. I thought the newest was 5.1.135.

Could you do me a favor and check what version you have on your instalation disc?

Once you install Destinator Console on your pc using disc 1. And have also install activesync. Plug the GNAV into the pc via usb. Open Destinator console on PC and click on the install software button (don't worry it won't install anything unless you agree on the next stage). It will come up with terms to agree to box, the top of that box it will say:

Install Destinator 5.1.*** software.

Once you can see what this version is click no to cancel installation.

This would be much appreciated as I am trying out some things with different versions to get the most of the software.

Anything you need to know about the Unit or the software I would be glad to help with.

I have version 5-1-145 as stated just done the checks you asked my unit was built on 12/2005 got it this week. I am playing around with it at the moment put the sc file on it and now about to start playing around with the tom tom voice pack i have.

Just managed to upgrade to 5.1.145 myself but still don't think they have sorted out the seperate voice commands for alerts in favortes catergories. I am still looking into it though so will let you know.

Re tomtom files. Have you seen the instructions I posted a few weeks ago on how to convert the files to use with Destinator?

can you let me know where to get the update from for 5.1.135

and does this include map updates as i recently went north on to the A1 and found my self driving through a field according to the screen.... Laughing Out Loud
