tomtom 5 question

ive just purchased some second user tomtom5 software complete with serials and manuals etc, its all there its original not copys, its come froma ipaq set up, but the ipaqs dead, so i need to know can i install it on my ipaq now, bearing in mind its been registered and installed once allready ?how many units can i install this on, i remember tomtom3 used to be 3 units, before it locked down.

you can install it on one unit now, and on other units after each half year
