Welcome to the forum, have you selected the SPP mode for the GPS when setting up the Bluetooth connection? - also you can try to set-up the GPS within TomTom using the "Other cable NMEA GPS", set the Baud speed then on the final page go for the out going Bluetooth port (COM 5) - switch the device to landscape mode before doing this then you will see the BlueTooth port numbers in TomTom when making the selection - Mike |

In this case try using the Other Cabled NMEA device within TomTom, then set the Baud rate and on the last page select the outgoing Bluetooth port, to check the unit is comunicating with TT take a look at the yellow/ Blue disk (top RH) of the GPS status screen if it is spinning take it outside and wait for it to lock on to the sats. If it isn't spinning then somthing is stil wrong with the set-up - Mike |

I should have been more clear - use the setting within TomTom "Other Cable NMEA GPS" this will work with a Bluetooth unit - just set it up this way and give it a try - Mike |

Glad to hear you got it all working, just remember we all have to start out in this strange world of sat nav at some point, but once its working its great, another plus is that you never stop learning - even better.
Next on your list of things to do - you want to get the Safety cameras loaded on from this site and configured.
The main link is

there are other links to information as to what to do from this page - Mike |
