tom tom 700 cancelling trip?

I'm useing the Tom Tom 700 with delite, however once I plot a trip into the unit there appears to be no way of cancelling the trip. I have enter destinations sometimes 3 or 4 hour trips. Part way through the trip I no longer need assistance but have no way of cancelling the trip short of turning the unit off. Any idea's?
