Looking to buy a PDA and GPS unit

Basically I recently sold my CD changer with the view to buying an IPOD for the car. However my mate has suggested that I can grab a PDA which will do the same job but I can also use it for additional functions.

I'm looking at the following products:
1. HP IPAQ HX2750
2. SYSON Chip with the extra 1GB

Basically the PDA is more than good enough for my needs. Comes with 256 MB memory and has both SD and CF slots.

It's mainly for playing music in the car and also for the odd bit of GPS.

Are these products OK together?
Has anyone got any views?
