TTN2 Wireless car installation

I think I am missing something along the way.



Just wired in my BT GPS to the car electrical supply and the unit will not charge.



Tried charging using the cigar lighter and it is fine.



There is a feed to the unit itself but wont charge at all. The live is wired onto an ignition fed lead.



Any help would be superb.

How do you know there is a feed to the unit itself? Have you multimetered it to find out? If it's wired to the ignition then surely it won't charge unless ignition is engaged? Or perhaps the unit is 100% charged so is on stop? Could be just your wiring...pos and neg definitely correct?

I hace ascertained that there is a live feed via a multimeter. The unit itself is not charged.



Live = red (with fuse) ((hopefully))
