MIO C220 Digiwalker and speed camera database

The Mio C220 Digiwalker seems to be absent in the supported list of devices for the speed cam database while a lot of models in the series are.
Is this really the current state of things. If so is there a reason for this e.g. it uses a difficult format.
I've just acquired one of these from an ebay dealer who failed to come up with the Garmin C510 I won. Now I have a bad feeling that speed cam info is going to be a problem.

Depends which version of MioMap it is running.
If v3.x then you need the version "UK Miomap V3 MTC Directional"
If v2.x then the "UK Consolidated" should work but I have no experience to confirm it.
You will need the right program to look into the device, which should have come with it or might be available from the Mitac site.

Thanks SallyAnn. Its 3.3 I think. So I take it what I should be searching for on this site is MioMap to find some helpfull hints and not C220 which doesn't bring up much at all.
