|
|
I am thinking of buying a new PDA and TTN5 (Bluetooth) to go on it.
Want it for UK and US navigation.
My question. Can I install TTN5 onto a different SD card than that it comes with? And can I also install US maps on the same card?
I was thinking of getting a 2GB SD card for my new PDA and installing everything on it. |

When you get the TT5 software their instructions recommend you to back-up the supplied card to another. So, yes, the copies work as long as you use them in the PDA that you register the software on. The idea of course is that you put TT5 onto a big card. 2gb sounds pleanty enough! I do not know how big the USA maps are though.
Dave.

Texas map alone is about 90 MB, combined South Central states (TX, LA, AR, OK, NM) is 141 MB. |

Thanks for your replies.
Mainly interested in SE US as that is where I usually travel but was going to buy the whole country as the price difference is not very much.
Does anyone know what space the UK TTN5 and UK Maps take up when I copy it to another SD card? |

The application itself stays the same, all you have to do is add your UK maps to the same folder as the US maps. The UK maps have a size of 106 MB. |
