| Can anyone tell me what the latest version of the Navman maps and Software is? My mate wants to check how up to date his iCN520 is. |

I have just bought a NavMan iCN 520 and it is using SmartST 2005 |

I have just bought a NavMan iCN 520 and it is using SmartST 2005 |
I just emailed Navman store about that. I've got a 550 and the SmartST 2005 desktop tells me I'm using v3.90 maps but nowhere on the navman store does it mention version numbers of maps. You can buy "the latest" from them but you might well be buying what you already have.
If I get a useful answer from them (in the next 48 business hours they say) I'll post the good bits here. |

The maps you have on your iCN550 are the latest available.

I figured they would be, but when the day comes that they're not, I'm not sure how I'll know. |

There will be an announcement on Navman's website. Usually with Navman, new maps are accompanied by a new Software version.
