uk vodafone gprs help tomtom traffic NOKIA & hp4700

ive managed to set my account etc and got it running fine with my tomtom mobile software on my symbian phone, however, in search of larger screen......im really strugggling to get it to make any connection with my Nokia 6680 , hp 4700 and tomtom 5 navigator software using the tomtom bluetooth gps device and vodafone gprs.,

Any guidance on this mych appreciated, and do i really need to keep changing my device type on the tomtom web site everytime iwant to use either the tomtom mobile or navigator software? thanks
