Is it possible to clear the current route while in the Navigator screen? The only way I can do it is in Map view and then Tools/clear route.

As long as you have v2.24 you can set "Turn Guidance Off" as one of your short-cuts in the Navigator Menu (tap on the screen once to enter Nav menu). |

I have a hardware button set up for Turn Guidance Off - it's useful, for example, when pulling in to a service station.
My buttons are set as follows:
1 - Memorise Position
2 - default (it's the button I use for CheckPOInt)
3 - Turn Guidance Off (which toggles guidance on and off)
4 - Original (which recalculates the current route - invaluable if you have deliberately chosen to deviate from the original route and Navigator is trying to force you back onto the original route!)

How do you set up a hardware button for a specific function? I have got an Axim and so far I could only manage to execute program files i.e. I can switch TTN2 on by Button 1.
Thanks,

Take a look at the Properties screen in Navigator (File -> Properties... on all but the Navigator screen - or use the Properties option in the Navigator menu).
The settings related to hardware buttons are on the Advanced tab at the bottom of the screen. If you want to use settings configured by other programs (like I do for Button 2, which is claimed by CheckPOInt), leave the setting as <Default function>.
If you've never found the Properties screen before, it's worth looking through all the options there. You can customise Navigator a fair amount.
