Leadtek 9546 works indoors!

Similar to the Leadtek 9543, the 9546 is now available with SiRF's XTrac software. This works like a normal GPS outdoors, but when it gets into an obscured situation (indoors, tunnel, car park etc.) it switches in a load more processing power, adding about 12dB more performance to the receiver. We actually navigated with one outside, brought it indoors, put the antenna under a metal waste paper bin, and STILL got 5 satellites with a good position! - has to be seen to be believed. Only available as a 25mm square OEM board at the moment (9546HS module), but I imagine it may be available as a 9532 type device in the near future. Of course I will keep you posted.
