Having had my Mio 168 throw a bit of a wobbler and reset itself I have got most things back to where they were, except for the voice prompts.
I still have an american accent telling me to go round the "circle" instead of the roundabout etc. It amuses the kids but I would like my old more English accented voice talking about rounabouts. The trouble is I don't know where to change this. Any clues anyone?

The MIO Map software on your Desktop PC allows you to select different languages for the maps. When you install the MIO Map software you are prompted to enter the language pick English - UK as opposed to just the English option. If you have already installed the MIO Map Console you can change the Language setting by selecting Tools and Language. Once this is completed you can select File and Install Language (You must have synched your MIO first), the UK Version will then be copied to your MIO 168 and return it to Roundabout and change the accent back.

Thanks for the information Tigger. Now if only I hadn't broken the screen I would imagine I could get it working fine. I have a feeling that when I first got it I did change some things whilst synched to the PC and the voice was probably one of them.
All is not lost as I looking at possibly getting the A201 as a replacement and in the short term I will probably use my existing copy of Miomap.
