Hi, I'm new to this GPS stuff, but it seems straightforward enough & I've had no problems til now.
I uploaded the software update from TomTom site the otehr day, the next day I had a couple of problems with it locating where i was when I started out on my journey.
Typical, it woudl be a day when I had no clue where i was going!
And the time is out, I've tried changing it but when you hit sync it goes wrong again.
The time shows correctly at the moment, here in the house where it says I have no signal, but when I say navigate to and select a route the time on the route screen is back to being wrong.

Any GPS Device will need a short while to get a 'fix'. If you switch the unit on in the house before you go out the 1 should be ready when you want to drive off in the car.
If you start it as you move off it can take some while to get a fix because the parameters are always changing as you move down the road.
When you say the time is wrong, by how much is it wrong?
If you mean it is an hour out, when you use Sync, just adjust the hour down by 1 and it will then read GMT. _________________ Richard
