Has anyone used the above is it any good? Does it compare to the TOMTOM700.

The TMS system is it any good?

I have just bought one of these and am very happy with it! I can't say how it compares to the TomTom700 though, as I chose not to jump on the TomTom bandwagon! Routing is quick and easy and when you ignore its suggested route, it quickly re-calculates. The only slight irritation, which actually adds character, is the lisp that the English female voice has!

The Traffic Module is excellent, giving real time warnings of all sorts of delays and it has the option to automatically re-route you to avoid them. All this and no monthly fee!

True I suppose but I didn't want to pay for features I didn't need, particularly the Bluetooth facility - I already have this option on my ICE system! TomTom also charge an exorbitant monthly fee for their TMS facility and Safety Camera database. I'd rather us Pocket GPS World's database, even when they start to charge!
