Mio A201 Frozen Tom Tom 5.21 No GPS Device

When I try to install Tom Tom Navigator 5.21 on my Mio A201 it freezes after the bit where I choose the port my GPS device is on. The screen goes blue with 'Welcome to Tom Tom Navigator' in white at the top right had corner. At the bottom is says No GPS Device. The only way I can get out fo this screen is to soft reset. Anyone else have this problem. I know there are issues with Tom Tom 5 and Mio A201 but I thoguht v5.21 fixed these.
