GR236 not keeping a fix

I just purchased the Slim236 and it's charging. I managed to pair it to my K-jam without any problems but the receiver seems to have trouble keeping a fix. It is located on my desk near the window. After about 65 minutes it got it's first fix but then lost it after 5 minutes. Then it will take another 5-6 minutes to fix again but would loose it again after a few minutes. It seems to be doing this on a regular cycle.

I've not done anyhting with it apart from plug in the charger. Should I enable WAAS/EGNOS in GPS viewer?

I'm using GPS viewer at the moment as I don't have any Nav software yet.

Left it over night and now it has fix to 6 satelites and is stable. :D
