More POIs?

I’ve just purchased a TT One and I’ve started to get addicted to POIs! Are there any websites which offer a larger selection and ones which are frequently updated (been through the ones here – great!).

Also, I read theres a limit of 39 ‘categories’ – I take it a category is ‘Cinema’ or ‘Burger King’ etc? Does the limit include the pre-installed ones? And above the limit, do new ones just not show up? Many thanks!

39 categories does NOT include all the pre-installed ones.
If you add more than 39, SOME (not neccessarily the last added) will just not show up on the list.

Also for your info, there is a way to completely replace the built-in POIs, unfortunately you aren't allowed to edit them because of copyright limitations. Details are in the POI section of the MyTomTomGo forum here

Thanks - great stuff! I downloaded some from POIPlace, but those ones only show the distance and not the road name ect in the navigate section - any ideas? Also, I'm guessing theres no way of seeing more of the road names in the other POIs?

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?.
Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
