Did you get external Antenna with your Mio 269+ ??

Hi!

Yesterday i purchased the Mio 269+ and from what i have read on Mio's homepage, I should also get the external GPS antenna in the package ?

Does the Mio268/269 operate from behind a windshield?

Yes, it does with most windshields. And, just in case, we added the external antenna to the package.

Anyone got the external antenna with your Mio 269+ ??

The 269+ doesn't come with an external antenna as it uses the sirfIII chipset which is more sensitive. Only the previous 269 came with an ext antenna using sirfII. The 269+ is brilliant, it will pick up satellites almost anywhere.

i bought one today and it came with an external antenna, so are these any good then, just had a quick look at it.
