Hi everyone.

Could anyone help me with a slight problem i have.

I have just got a TT 700. Seems a good bit of kit... However, i do need to do something which will hepo with my job.

I would like to be able to navigate to a junction, e.g. A120/B1024 or something like that...

Is there an easy way to do this?

the only way you can do this i think is browse the map to what junction you want to take and set as destination.

I'd like this facility too, or more accurately just be able to use a road number to "navigate via" or "avoid".

The only help I can give is that there is a Motorway junction POI file available on one of the POI sites.

Hi

thankyou both for your replies. I am trying to get my head around doing it with the itinery thingy and way points.

Any POI web site addresses would be welcomed..

Thanks again.

I've just put in Braintree as a destination and when asked for a street put in A120. You've then got a choice of navigating to the junction of where it crosses A131 or B1256. Not sure where your junction is but parts of the A120 aren't on the Tomtom anyway.

Thanks Oldboy, and very useful it is too.

Another thing that I think should be included on the map data, but isn't, is the bridges over the Thames in London.
The road names don't always follow the bridge names and Londoners often say "Don't go that way, go via Chiswick Bridge" etc. so I've put them in as a tiny POI group (there's already a good wavy water symbol available for them).
