Hi hope someone can help me with theese questions

1. Can you install pois to tomtom one other than speed cams ie: b&q mcdonalds etc etc as you can on a pda with poi edit.

2. when tomtom 6 comes out could you in theory purchase the software from tomtom and install it on the one or would you need to purchase a whole new unit.

3. what is the gps antenna like on the tomtom go when sitting on your dashboard do you drop signal a lot and get lost?

4. why is one better than tomtom 300.

Hi,

1 Yes you can add pois to your One to a max of 39 categories.

2 The software updates are usually free, it’s the mapping data you have to pay for when it’s updated.

3 I have a ttgo classic and never have a problem with gps signals. Bought an antenna before they become obsolete, I drive a company car that is changed ever couple of years and thought I might end up with one that has a heated front screen. The antenna is about 2inch square and attached to the screen mount.

4 The one has a better gps receiver SiRFStarIII chipset
