Tomtom5problem with Fuzion GPS receiver - Hi just bought the Fuzion solar powered GPD devise which the phone has linked with ok but the tomtom5 isn't recognising it ? some how it worked for one journey but now it can't find a gps devise ?? can anyone help ? (The BT serialport setup is checked in outbound COM port 7) thanks ps worked fine with the std unit.

which phone are you using please if its a windows smartphone the wihile its turned on take the battery out for 30 seconds and then put it back in and start the phone and try to connect the gps

Hi, I'm using the spv500 and my friend who has the same phone connects no problem !!

I found this tip worked brilliantly..ensure you select other GPS device

1. Make sure TT is not running and your BT device is switched off
2. Start TT.
3. Go into Change Preferences - Show GPS Status - Configure
4. When you select your type of device it should start searching for BT devices.
5. Switch on your BT device.
