Odd behaviour of my TomTom One

I've just been playing with my TT1 and it's started to act up.

Sometimes (about 75% of the time actually) when I press some of the on-screen 'buttons' the TT1 acts as if I've pressed another button. For example, I press 'Change Preferences' and get the 'Preferences 1 of 6' screen then press the right pointing arrow (to move to page 2) but the TT1 acts as if I've pressed the 'Use night colours' button i.e. that icon flashes briefly then the screen goes back to the normal map screen in night colours.

It was working just fine when I used it yesterday. Someone please tell me this is easily fixable (and how).

Try a reset. Hole under the base of the ONE.

As it turns out, it seems to be working ok again this morning but if it happens again, I'll try a reset.
