if you have been sold a defective product you will be able to send the unit back for replacement/refund. Have you contact ebuyer? _________________ Regards

Ipod - are you from UK? If so you have lots of legislation on your side that you can use to force either ebuyer or your credit card company to refund your money. However I think from a previous post (quoting price in dollars) you are not. In which case I don't know the law elsewhere.
In the UK ebuyer has a reputation for being cheap and OK as long as nothing goes wrong. When it does go wrong their systems seem unable to cope. A recent article in our consumer magazine (Which) made exactly that point. |

Within the first 30 days of your purchase you should deal with the reseller. How long ago did you buy the product? _________________ www.easydevices.co.uk

Legally this is not correct. The buyers contract is always and only with the seller. The manufacturer's guarantee does not affect that legal position. If the product defective (not of "satisfactory quality") your sanction is against the seller. You may choose to use the manufacturer's warranty but you do not have to.
Another safeguard is that if a product breaks down in the first 6 months it is assumed that it was defective when bought (and therefore not of satisfactory quality) and the onus is on the seller to prove otherwise. |
