it's a myth anyhow. ( or urban legend, if you prefer that). Don't waste your time.

What do you mean a myth? I used the program before and it worked great but I lost the link where I downloaded the first time.

Because the only software which will help you get a better GPS signal is that which is inside your GPS receiver. Once the data has left the GPS receiver there is not much that can be done with it.

If you want to improve your reception, get a better GPS reciever, mount it somewhere differently or get an antenna.
