Navman ICN 510 - Service pack 1 issues

I have just bought a Navaman ICN510 gps system. Everything was working ok, connection to computer was ok.

Visited Navman's website and downloaded update (service pack 1) as instructed by the software, and installed. Navman works ok as on its own. However when I connect to the computer Activesynch starts, but terminates the connection. I have tried uninstalling and reloading the non sp1 software back on, but problem persists. Have tried a sysetm retore on computer to clear problem, no luck.

Does anyone no of any issues with the service pack 1 software for this model? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The computer is running Windows XP Home Service pack 2, with Mcaphee Anti-virus and Firewall, virus scan reports clean, not sure whether firewall is granting access or not cannot check settings.

I seem to remember someone else having problems when using McAfee Firewall and ActiveSync. Turn the firewall off and try again.
