USA Maps on TT5 Mobile

Hello everyone,

I'm running TomTom 5 Mobile on a SE P910i.
I have a 1GB Memory card and have transferred over all the TTM files and it's working fine (along with the Safety Camera Database and Yoda giving me directions)

I often travel to the USA and would like to use it there.

I have read that it is possible to download maps from TomTom for use in the USA, but if I tell them I am using TTM5 it will only let me download them directly to my Phone rather than a PC download.

I'd preferr to have a PC download as a backup and also so I don't have to pay a fortune for the download to my phone.

Can anyone suggest what I should put in the TomTom plus pages to get a download that I can just add to my memory card with a card reader?

TomTom GO?
TomTom Navigator?

You should just buy the maps in a shop and have the CD's or SD card delivered to you.

SO buying the CD's for TomTom GO / Navigator 5 for all of the US (about £99) is the best bet, and then it's just a case of copying them to the memory card to use them...
