Anyone know if there is a way of adding / editing / removing icons to the standard ones supplied with the software for "Favourites" ?

A lot of the icons as supplied I will never use so would like to be able to delete them, and I would like to add a few of my own - especially if there were a site where new icons could be chosen and downloaded ....

Anyone got any ideas Question

Cheers Smile

Mmmm... thats an interesting idea.

The icons are bitmap images at 32x32 pixels and named 'fav0' to 'fav30' I did change one of them for my own use, just make sure you keep the original name for the image otherwise SmartSTwont recognise it.

Hi Ian,

Thanks mate - having now "browsed" my Ipaq I have found the image files - all 30 of them at :

\Program Files\Navman\SmartST Pro\Themes\Favourite

I have 30 icons named fav0.bmp to fav29.bmp

I'm going to have a play and see if I can add icons to that folder of the same size, calling them fav30.bmp, fav31.bmp etc and see if they come up in the program when it is runnign and available to use, or if not I'll try editing / replacing some of the ones I wil never use like you did.

I'll let you know how I get on - Cheers :-)

The Navman software won't recognise any extra Icons added to the folder - or to be more accurate I can store more images in the directory they just don't show up within the Smart St program list of Favourite Icons.

What I CAN do though is take one of the icons I never use, change it within my graphics program and providing it stays the same size and format I can then replace it on the Ipaq and this is then available for use as a new Favourite Icon.

:D
