Strange

Mine has worked out just fine and dandy. Can't understand why your having these problems 8O

yes i did the first time then i formated my card and reinstalled and didn't edit that time

So you have the two folders from the download POICapture & SDKRegistry loaded onto your TTG (you did change the name of one of the .mnu files to tomtom.mnu and discarded the other prior to installing:?:

There is on very important thing to keep in mind - the GO runs Linux which is case sensitive.

So the file name is TomTom.mnu , not tomtom.mnu !

Renaming the file on your PC is not trivial. you need to do it in two steps:

tomtom.mnu > TromTom.mnu > TomTom.mnu

(because the Windows file system is not case sensitive, and will not do anything if you try the direct way)

If you want to keep SC's apps in the menu, add some more TASK_SDKx to the fourth page, x being 2,3,4 etc.

I've downloaded the zip file, extracted to my TTGo 700, renamed the .mnu file and....nada. The menus are unchanged, no sign anywheere of the POIcapture icon on any page. So what have I done wrong?

its driving mental can i for the love of .....get it on to page 1 even with case senstive spelling it won't move from page 4 ..... :%
