No one can hear me when using hands free

Hi

I recently purchased a TT5 and upgraded to 5.420 and installed the camera DB from this site.

It all works fine except that no one can hear me when i make or recieve a call using the TT. I assume there is a microphone built into the hardware. Does anybody have any thoughts?

The microphone is in the docking shoe.

Make sure you haven't got anything obstructing it.

Recommend the purchase of an external microphone. Plenty on offer on ebay!

I can hear them, but they cannot hear me. Will turning the volume up make a difference>

There is nothing in front of the docking shoe. I normlly place it so the bottom of the holder is on the dash, but that has a rubber bottom.

Hi,

My car is already "Wires r us" so dont really want another. It is also more hassle as after the recent theft of my Radar detector, all the kit comes off the dash so no one knows it exists.
