Had one of those 168 clones (medion branded) for about 4months and i have a battery meter installed on it and lately ive noticed if i dont use it for a few days the battery percentage will have have still droped down even tho its not been in use, is this normal? |

YES - it is normal for the batterry to lose charge even when not used.
Just remember - DO NOT let your battery fully discharge, keep topping it up even if you are not going to use it for any extended periods.
Failure to keep the battery charged can reduce its life from anywhere between 3-5 years, down to a matter of months! |

You need to check that the programs that you have used are actually switched off before you turn the unit off. On many (if not all) for example activsync, closing the programm still leaves it running in the background -- even when the unit is switched off - hence it continues to use the battery.
I always go to settings -system - memory - running programms to ensure that everything is stopped. Hope this helps.

i thought that was the case, just lastweek id had it in the car on the cigar charger while i was using it and it had charged fully but then i went to use it the next day and it was flat so id lost all the programs on it. Just made me wonder if it was broken, maybe it was just having an off day |

If the particular programm has an 'exit' or 'quit' option then closing using those options does close the program completely. However I always double check just in case. |

A sure way to terminate a program is it pop the on screen keyboard up (botton right corner on 2003) and CTRL then Q |
