Please help!!!

I am going insane here.........I had TT3 running with the older silver TomTom Wireless GPS Reciever and a H3970 IPaq.

I upgraded to the TT5 and my first problem was not enough memory so after unhelpful e-mails from TomTom I just bought a 1GB SD Card and that one was FIXED.

NEXT

I set up the application and all is well and then it comes to the maps and I get three choices of GB PLus, GB or GB Postcodes so after not being able to finds the answer anywhere I have just gone for pot luck and just set up GB Plus which I have assumed is everything (Post Codes, GB Maps, and PLUS Trial) so I think that is FIXED too.

NEXT

I can not get my GPS to work with the TT5. It is working on the H3970 as if I go onto the BT Manager it says that it working and it brings up co-orcinates etc BUT when you start the TT5 App it says No GPS device! If I go to configure the TT Silver GPS is not there only the new smaller and flatter balck one but there is a "Other GPS Wireless Device" bit so I click on configure and set it to the COM8 Serial Port and.............NOTHING! Rolling Eyes

Please please please help as I need to use this device Monday moring and all week for work.

I have seen somewhere about the GPS needing to be NMEA rather than SiRF but I do not understand what those are or how to change them.

Have pity on a fool and lend a hand ladies and gents before my mind blows up Embarassed

if you have the mk1 tt bt gps then tomtom bt gps will work i think you need to select com8

or used other wired gps select the comport you need then set the baud rate to 38400

the 2210 do the same as above but selct com 8 and uncheck receiver all incoming beams seamed to work on my freinds 2210 whn i set that up
