stupid question on TT 700

how do you cancel an active route. ?

I dont want to put in new route just want to see map display as i drive but cant figure this out. I have moved across from navman & this used to be easy to do, but on TT I cant find the right button !

There's a "clear route" button on the second screen.

...and.. if you are using this mode, make sure that any PoI warnings do not have "warn only if on route". If you have no route planned, you get no warnings.
