Hello everyone - I have just taken delivery of my TomTomGo 300, I have copied the info on the card that came with it onto a 512 mb card and now would like to have add info on the card - ie 'safety camera' info. I have read various posting with ever increasing horror, because I dont understand really what I have to do!!! This may be too difficult for me - I am beginning to think so ... but if anyone could very simply explain to me what I hve to do, then I could try - but if you guys think that it is beyond me - please so so. Many thanks.

Why not do it with the single camera set to start with.

Plug the Go into your computer with the USB lead.
Depending on your software, open the Go as a removable drive. (In "My computer"? Or on desktop with Windows XP or a Mac.
Open the GO as a window.
Open the Great Britain Map Folder. (see below)
-----------------------------------------------

Open the safety camera page: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras.php

Download the stuff. Link is next to the "Donate" logo.
Folder down loads. Open it.
Open the Folder called "Single File Version".
Open the folder "ov2 bmp files".
Select the two files "pocketgps_uk_sc.ov2" and "pocketgps_uk_sc.bmp".
Drag these two files to the Great Britain map folder on the GO. (opened at end of first bit above).
---------------------------------------------------

When the Go screen has stopped flashing, close all the GO windows on the PC and right click and "Eject". Again wait for flashing to stop. Unplug Go. (It may start working anyway).
---------------------------------------------------

Turn on GO.
Choose Change Prefs
Choose Manage PoI
Choose pocketgps_uk_sc
Make sure it's ticked.
Go back to Prefs/Manage PoI
Choose Warn when near PoI
Choose Pocketgps_uk_sc
Choose sound
Choose distance
Click Done and come back to main screen
Look for camera symbols showing.
