I pre ordered version 6 last Monday and was told that they would be contacting me to arrange payment and delivery within 14 days. AsI am waiting I thought I would start this thread to see when it is being shipped and what everyone first impressions are. _________________ Please follow me on twitter @mdyson1968 |

And they've just 'phoned up and taken my details. Delivery within 3-5 days, but probably sooner. _________________ Ian

Yes, I am glad to hear it. The UK V6 product has been out or at least announced for over two weeks now. I have been watching almost hourly for announcement of the US V6 availability, which just occurred yesterday afternoon I think.
I think I will order today.
If I read requirements right, I can use my iPaq 3970 if I upgrade to PC2003 operating system. As for suitability of the old Navman sleeve I still use, there is a tiny mention from ALK that V6 supports "any GPS receiver supplied by ALK". If there's any problem I'll order the BlueTooth receiver from them.
But it's very tempting to splurge and get WM 5, and try the landscape display feature, much better for maps. _________________ Doug
