Emtac BT: after paired

I received my Emtac B/T GPS today!!!, and it's all up and running with my iPaq 3970, and now paired.



i had to change the iPaq's "b/t settings for all devices" passkey to 0183, in order to pair the GPS.



i suppose the easiest way to answer this question, is to try it, but before i give myself a load of grief, thought i'd ask:



can I now change the iPaq's passkey settings back to what i had previously, without the GPS becoming unpaired???

No. If you have multipled BT devices, the best way is to create seperate groups for them as you can change passkeys on groups and not individual devices. If I have a TomTom BT GPS group and a Emtac group, the TTBTGPS has a passkey of 0000 and the Emtac/Socket 0183, if I setup individual groups and when I bind each one, make sure it only goes to the group I've set the correct passkey against, it should work.
