Tom Tom 700 - quick question

Once you have input your route, and the viewed the route, then selected alternative routes and viewed a couple more.

What is a quickway of going back to an earlier route without having to start again?

sorry, nothing exists for that. The start and destination of previous routes will be stored, but not the complete route.

You can use the itinerary function if you want to store the complete route (but you'll have to accept the bug that a GPS position needs to be available for that.

If the earlier route was simple, with no intermediate "via", then the last 20 or so will be listed as Recent Destinations. Choose "Navigate to/Recent Destinations". A recent Destination includes the City and Street info all in one.
