loading speed camera database on to navman 520

I have successfully downloaded, extracted and saved to device all the files for the "consolidated by type" option, following the the instructions provided for the navman device. (the POI Editor informs me as all files are "saved to my device").
But I cannot find them anywhere on the navman 520.
I have opened the Navman 520 preferences and safety alert options but no "active POI" are listed (the screen is the keyboard with the top message "there are no active POI's").
No doubt I have missed doing something simple, could any one help!!!
