I have been reading this forum for the past couple of weeks as I have decided to purchase a PDA with GPS - Great Forum :P

Today I took the plunge and purchased a mio 168. Anyway I am looking at purchasing a SD card and I have been reading the forums and I have seen the about memory from scan.co.uk.

I have checked on the Mio website and they support 133x memory.

Has anyone used this type of memory on the mio yet? and if so any feedback?

thanks

Hi, and welcome to the forum. I can't help you on your search for information, but can I ask that you only post one question in one section, please? I've deleted your identical post in the Beginners' section.

Not using the Sd card you mention but use a 256mb Kingston Elite Pro which is faster that the standard card but to be honest if I put my tom tom maps on my old cheap sd card it runs just the same. Loading data from my PC onto the card via card reader the faster card does load data a bit faster but not much faster

I get my cards from http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/Home.html & buy the none branded cards but I see that if you peel off the sticker on the card they are Toshiba cards under a different name.

I don't see my 168 running any faster with my faster card installed so for me either works fine with my Mio & the cheaper card works just great.

Enjoy the Mio
