Chinese voice prompts

Hello! Well, bought a new Go 500. Was messing around with it and got it so it couldn't boot. It just stayed on the black Tom Tom splash screen.

If I reset it and held down the 'on' button though could get to a sort of linux POST screen.

Anyway, I'm in the process of taking it back to Argos...

What I did want to ask is does the Tom Tom Go 500 contain Chinese voice prompts? I played with a mate's Tom Tom 5 mobile and that seemed to have it.

you can copy the chinese voice from his mobile over to your GO - it will work there as well.

on the Documentation CD you received with your GO500.
Choose for 'add/remove extra features'

When you say you reset the unit, did you use the paperclip method? If not perhaps try this before you take it back.
