Map switch

Hi all

Situation - 512MB SD with UK map on, running TT5

Going to Geneva for the weekend (we'll mostly be walking around but no reason I can't be a real geek and have a nav aid!)

Not both the UK and Germany/Switzerland files are going to fit on the SD. Can I delete the big cline.dat file to make enough space (or indeed the entire GB directory) behind TT's back and copy the Germany/Switzerland directory onto the SD?

Will TT spit the dummy if it finds a half baked GB directory or will it gracefully falls back so that you can browse for a map?

You could load the "Swiss Plus" maps or equivalent which will give you major roads in the UK, and the detailed Swiss maps.
