Where can I buy US Navman maps?

I posted a query last week asking them when an update to the UK/Europe would be available. Response around October and no further details.

I'm off on a trip to the USA in a couple of weeks, and would like if possible to take my Navman 3400 with me. I'd need to buy US maps, I guess, as mine came with the European maps. Anyone know where I can buy the US maps from? Or is it not that simple?

I've been in touch with Navman, and they tell me I should be able to buy USA maps from "around October"

I wonder if that means there will be a software upgrade and updated UK maps released around the sam time???
