I thought that it would be a good idea to have a thread for any tips that folk have found for this excellent produce that is sadly lacking in the 'Owners Manual' department. Please add any undocumented tip you have discovered below.
I would suggest that tips should be as short and accurate as possible and that forum chit-chat should be kept to a minimum.
Below are a couple to get the ball rolling :-

* It is possible to upload and download waypoints / favorites using the Mapsource P.C. based program.

* The i3 can be powered from any USB socket.

* If downloaded POI icons dont work try changing number of colours in the BMP file to 16
