TTN5 - night colours

On TTN3 the option to select night colours is on the first screen you see when you click on the main Navigator screen. On TTN5 you click once to get the first screen then have to select "Change preferences" to get to the night colours option. IMO this is a step backwards. Is there ant way to change this?

Yes, take a look here: http://www.rayflanagan.co.uk/custommenu.html. You can completely customise the menus, I put the night colours button on page 1 of the menu.

Hi mogman,

You can use custom menus on TomTom Navigator 5, although you may need to move up to 5.10 if you’re not already running 5.10.

I suggest that you use Skux’s menu builder, which is a great web base application for building TomTom menus. Although you may need to use MS Notepad to tweak the menu (e.g. the title of each page in the menu).

Once you’ve created your menu, save it as tomtom.mnu and save it in the following folder, which you may have to create:
