Hi Guys and card is behind the bar if you do that sort of thing here Smile

Anyway my question and details are as follows.
I have an Ipaq 2210 with TomTom 5 software and the old TomTom 3 GPS reciever (silver thing)

Basically I use this with a motorbike so its often in a pocket and doesnt get a great signal, is it possible to upgrade the GPS reciever to a better one? I dont think TT5 can use SIRF though might be a pointless upgrade.

It does! The new TomTom receiver (MKII) uses SiRF III and would easily get a signal in your pocket (I leave mine in my glove box). All of the SiRF III receivers are going to be compatible though you might find the TomTom one the easiest to pair. Look on the hardware forums there'll be plenty of advice there.
