will not charge up HELP

Hi i just got a new Ipaq 3970 and the new Navman SE 3450.



My problem is that whenever i plug them both into the car charger or place it into the cradle, the ipaq will not charge up what so ever. Place the Ipaq in the cradle on it's own or in the car it charges great!!!!!.



Also when the Navman jacket is on i can get to the battery life screen but the bar will not show to give the % of life left. All very annoying as when in the car it keeps turning of and after an hour or so get the red you will loose all your data low battery sign.



Has anyone had this before or do i have a duff Navman HELP
