Is it possible to find what the OS grid reference is for a point on the tomtom map?

You could use http://www.streetmap.co.uk/ to convert OS grid refs to long/lat and vice versa.



I use streetmap to convert postcodes to long/lat to make address searching easier.

Ah but wanting to do this while out on the route - away from the phone etc. Anything that will work in conjuction with tomtom?

You can get WGS84 coordinates if, in the map view, you select Tools -> Go to co-ordinates...



I don't know of an easy way to convert that to OSGB36 on the Pocket PC, though.
