Flying program GPS ?

Just wondering if anyone knew a program that works well when in the air, I would like a program that shows a map of the world and where you are in the air when you are flying and how fast, how high etc...

The application I develop called GPS Speed Sentry does most of what you want. There isnt a moving map or anything (yet) but it does show;

Speed (in miles/knots/kmph)
Altitude (in metres/feet)
Direction (using a 3D compass)

There are also moving graphs showing altitude and speed. You can read more about it here;

Although not typically for flying it should do the trick and Ive always imagined it would be useful while flying.

Found the above program for Palm which is awesome but not for PDA :O(

I want a map really of world so when flying I can see how long and where we are in the air, that is what I think is cool.
